    President’s Message

    Hello!

    On behalf of the Board of Directors and our membership group welcome to the Human Resource Management Association of Western New England.  If you are a current member thank you for your support!  If you are considering membership, congratulations on locating the wealth of resources designed to support your professional and personal development. 

    At the HRMA-WNE, we pride ourselves on listening and responding to the needs of our members.  That being said, this promises to be an exciting year as we make innovative programs and engaging speakers available to address the critical issues affecting our businesses and industries locally. 

    Our Board of Directors and Committees are comprised of all-volunteer group of members.  There are many opportunities to get involved and we hope that you’ll lend your expertise by joining a committee in the future.

    I look forward to seeing you at events this season and would be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the chapter or your membership with us!

    Who We Are

    Founded in 1945, the Human Resource Management Association of Western New England, originally known as the Industrial Relations Association, has been a progressive organization whose purpose is to:

    • EDUCATE: Provide members valuable resources, information and education in the field of human resources.  Our pre-approved programs provide the opportunity to earn both SHRM and HRCI credits needed to maintain your professional certifications.
    • CONNECT: Promote professional relationships among those in the industry and those individuals that support the industry of human resources
    • SUPPORT: Encourage the exchange of ideas and discussion of issues common to human resources administration

    Dinner meetings are normally held the third Monday of each month featuring speakers and programs on a variety of human resource related topics. Meeting announcements and information are located on our website under the Calendar of Events (insert Link) and via email.     Membership is open to persons responsibly engaged in human resource/personnel work for a member organization of the Human Resource Management Association.
