    Capturing, analyzing and reporting organizational data can be challenging.  Nowhere is this more true than in Human Resources.   Multiple priorities, limited staffing and cumbersome HR and Payroll systems limit an HR professional’s ability to capture, analyze and report HR metrics.  In addition, the data management skill set is but one of many skill sets required in HR.  For small HR departments, it might be a missing skill set.

    In this session, we will review key HR metrics and discuss ways to simplify the capturing and reporting of this data.  Specific areas of reporting covered will include hiring, turnover, performance reviews, compensation planning, benefits enrollment and billing and pay equity compliance.

    • Identify various HR metrics and their applications.
    • Understand “Big data” and its uses in companies of all sizes.
    • Explore metric capture and reporting methods.
    • Learn how to utilize metrics to improve HR operations and organization success.

    Russ Sullivan, principal of Bondcliff HR3 Advisors, has worked for over 35 years in Human Resources including C level positions for health care and technology companies, including start-ups, public and private entities.  For the past 7 years, Russ has helped Massachusetts employers identify and implement creative compensation and benefits solutions including compliance with Massachusetts Pay Equity Act, the Affordable Care Act, FLSA and Massachusetts Earned Sick Time.

    Russ received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.
